Wanted: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for CO2 Neutralization Startup

Fractive, a BFG Superstars-backed startup is looking for a CTO and co-founder to assist with the development and implementation of an ERC-20 token. She/he should lead a team of developers during the technical implementation phase for Fractive’s token.

Our Mission

More and more companies aim to achieve Net-Zero emissions. We have found a way of using utility tokens to efficiently represent CO2 neutralization efforts. We want to leverage the benefits of the blockchain to solve one of the most pressing issues faced by the current world market: transparency and traceability.
We’ve seen immense demand from companies for a solution like ours and believe that it is possible to secure a long-term position in the market.

Project Description

We want to make CO2 offsetting more transparent.
To achieve this, we are securing partnerships with offsetting companies. These projects are then verified regarding their impact by widely adopted and trusted verification processes. If a project is verified, utility tokens that represent the offsets are minted. The token publicly displays all relevant key factors (location, offsetting partner, date, kind of offsetting mechanism, etc.).
Companies that wish to offset emissions can send tokens to a wallet that “deactivates” or spends the token.

Our requirements

All of these items are wishlist items, we are still open to people who do not fulfill all of the bullets:

• Will actively contribute to the incubation program with BFG Superstars: https://en.blockchain-founders.io/bfg-superstars
• Has completed or is working on a degree in computer science (or similar).
• Has prior programming work experience
• Has experience with the technical aspects of blockchain. Specifically, we are searching for someone with expertise in tokenization (we will most likely be using ERC-20 tokens)
• Would be willing to lead and coordinate a technical team of people
• Is based in Germany (Remote work is possible, however, we would like to be able to meet once in a while, since we believe that this is important for effective teamwork and trust)

• To guarantee a justified task distribution for your position as CTO, we will be offering a fair equity split as soon as the fundraising process is concluded and we’ve incorporated our final company. We will place a vesting agreement for each founding member.
